The One Place Where Snow Falls Every Night

As part of holiday series, this week I am going to post about The One Place Where Snow Falls Every Night. We are in the winter and holiday season. Yet we haven’t really seen snow yet in Seattle area. Of course, Mt. Rainier does offers snow everyday throughout the year. However, we don’t want to miss out holiday spirit, jingle bells song, and St. Nicholas of the holiday season. So where do we go to enjoy snow and holiday spirit at the same time?
We go to Bellevue. Bellevue is another big city located east of Seattle where there are a lot of shopping and major corporations reside. Every evening starting from Black Friday until Christmas, there is holiday celebration on the street between Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square and Bellevue Place. The event starts around 7:00pm when the soldier drummers march into the event area along with other snow characters. Once they get to the designated stage area, the celebration begins with exhilarating music. Then before you know while you are enjoying holiday music with amazing performance, you will start feeling snow falling to the area to experience the whole holiday spirit. The entire snow falling and performance last about 20 minutes. You will have a chance to take pictures with performers after the event. Again, this is another family oriented holiday activities while adults can also enjoy holiday shopping in the city. We usually like to be around Bellevue area in the afternoon so that we have time to enjoy delicious foods, shopping for the holiday and wrap up the evening with amazing Snowflake Lane Performance. If you want to know about other holiday events in Pacific Northwest, please have a visit my two other posts at The Lights of Christmas and Very Local Holiday Event – Festive Fun in Puyallup.
